Getting
it back

A web subscription is refundable for 14 days, no reason needed. Bought on an iPhone, Apple holds the money and Apple returns it.

Last updated 25 August 2026

What you are paying for

Board Vision Pro: $9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year. Your local currency and any tax are worked out at checkout, so what you are charged may not be the figure above.

There is no free trial and no introductory rate. The free allowance is the trial — spend it before you subscribe.

If you subscribed on the web

Ask within 14 days of any charge and we will refund it. No reason needed, and it makes no difference whether you used it.

Write to boardvisionapp@gmail.com with the address you subscribed under. Paddle is the merchant of record for web subscriptions, so the money goes back the way it came, to the card or account that paid it. Expect a few working days for it to land.

This applies to a renewal as much as to a first charge — if a yearly renewal caught you out, you have the same 14 days.

If you subscribed on an iPhone

Then Apple sold it to you, not us, and Apple is who refunds it. We cannot issue that refund and we never see the payment.

Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, and request it there. Apple decides, on Apple's terms.

If Apple turns you down and you think that is wrong, tell us at boardvisionapp@gmail.com. We cannot overturn it, but we would rather know.

Cancelling is not refunding

Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not return the one already taken, and it does not cut your access short — Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for, then stops.

Neither store lets us cancel on your behalf, so the button is never inside Board Vision. On an iPhone, Manage Subscription opens Apple's own subscription screen. On the web, it opens the Paddle customer portal. Both are reached from Settings in the app.

What happens to your allowance

When Pro ends, the thirty-a-month allowance ends with it. You do not drop back to a fresh free allowance — a free allowance is three analyses for the life of the account, and if you spent yours before subscribing it is still spent.

Your account, your clips and your past analyses are untouched by cancelling. They stay until you ask us to delete them, which the Privacy Policy explains.

Refused clips never count

You are never charged allowance for an analysis you did not get. A clip we could not read, a clip that came in under the coverage floor, an error on our side, a sign-in we would not accept — none of them spend anything.

So there is nothing to refund when a clip is turned down, because nothing was taken. If your count looks wrong to you, write to us and we will look at the record.

If a payment fails

We try again for a short while. Pro keeps working until the period you last paid for runs out, and then it stops rather than running up a debt.

Nothing is owed for the time after that. Subscribe again whenever you want to — the allowance window reopens on the day you first subscribed, not on the day you came back.

If we change something material

Where a change materially reduces what Pro buys, or where we close your account for any reason other than a breach of the Terms, we refund the unused part of the period without your having to ask.
